Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is a subsidiary of the Indian Railways that handles the catering, tourism and online ticketing operations of the Indian railways.
Using IRCTC website a passenger can book their ticket online. Booking a ticket online is a very simple process but when tatkal scheme came is became the busiest site of India during Tatkal rush hours (now its 10:00 AM to 10:10 AM & 11:00 AM to 11:10 AM).
Well you all know the whole tatkal story. So today i am going to talk about my research on Tatkal Booking softwares ( I mean illegal softwares). By using these kind of software anyone can book a tatkal ticket with 80% to 99% of booking chance. Now a day whichever trick you use like autofill, magic autofill, robo form, blah blah blah, you can not book a tatkal ticket with more than 10% of booking chance (Admit it!). For this reason the software makers are getting too much attention on this site. Now i personally use some of these software (not for booking "believe it or not") for my research purpose and finally come up with an idea that they are actually just automate the booking process. Now if anyone say that the software maker and IRCTC somehow linked, No they are not! The reason is if they are there will be no captcha code or login id password required to book a ticket through their software.
Long story short IRCTC never beat them as they are not breaking any Standard HTTP protocol. So in one sentence if there is a lock there must be a key or way to unlock it.
Any person with some programming knowledge make their own booking automation software, if they know the booking process.
The agents of this software will tell you its a China software and there are a team of software engineers behind this.

There are no engineers, actually there are some crazy fellow who are doing these kind of illegal work for earning quick money.
Actually anyone can make his own software with basic programming knowledge.
